Angry Birds Toons Animated Series to Premier this March 16 and 17
Stay Tooned Guys….for the extremely addictive and the most popular games of all times to make its television debut on March 16th and 17th. Rovio Entertainment Limited will be launching the first episode of Angry Birds Toons on its dedicated website for Angry Birds Toons and will be simultaneously adding new episodes every weekend.

The series of Angry Birds Toon is set on Piggy Island where the birds try to fight and battle over there eggs from Pigs and King Pig.
The company is looking at a long term future for the franchise and that it is looking at content and not growing distribution channels for the animated series.

Mikael Hed futher said that he plans to make Angry Birds Toons a timeless series just like Roadrunner and Pink Panther that anybody can understand even after 10 years down the line. Well we all hope to see the same as well.
And there is more to come guys. The company is also planning to launch Angry Birds 3D animated movie in 2016. John Cohen of Despicable Me fame will be producing the movie along with David Maisel who was former Chairman of Marvel Studios and executive producer of Iron Man.
