CES 2014: Micromax Canvas Lap Tab A Dual Boot Android and Windows 8.1 System
One of India’s leading smartphone and tablet manufacturer Micromax came up with something that most of the big electronic giant didn’t put there hands on. Micromax launched a dual boot system which offers both Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and Windows 8.1 tablet cum laptop named as Micromax Canvas Lap Tab. The Micromax Canvas Lab Tab was showcased to the public at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas.
The Canvas Lap Tab offers a 10.1-inch IPS display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and a 1.46GHz Intel Celeron processor. The Lab Tab also comes with a 2GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 64 GB. The front camera of the Canvas Lap Tab is a humble 2MP. Moreover the tab is packed with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and a powerful 7400 mAh battery.
One can even turn their Micromax Canvas Lap Tab into a laptop with its attachable keyboard and transleeve cover.
Micromax plans to hit the market with their new Canvas Lap Tab in February 2014. However a official confirmation on pricing is still awaited from the Indian tech giant.
