Facebook and Google to Monitor Suicidal Activities
Internet giants Facebook and Google are now watching the behavior of their user in order to stop them form taking any bizzare step. Facebook recently launched a tool to monitor and report any suicidal and suspicious behavior by any user. This tool will provide user a direct link to chat privately with counselors. Google will also monitor the activities of its users who are searching suicidal and suspicious content over web, the search results will automatically display phone numbers and contact details of counselors who would be able to assist users .
For a Facebook an option will be provided next to every feed to report suicidal behavior on their wall. The identity of both the users will be kept secret. Facebook will send an email to such suicidal users offering help and guidance.

Facebook is working along with National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, to help distressed users. According to a blog posted by Surgeon General of the United States, almost 100 people in USA commit suicide, more than 8 million Americans 18 or older had thought seriously about suicide.
The present service by Google and Facebook will be launched in USA and Canada.
