Facebook Home: Facebook Phone is here for Android
In the midst of speculations and rumors Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the Facebook Phone. Well its not what it sounds like. Facebook Phone is actually called as Facebook Home wherein the social networking giant unveiled the way it is integrated with Android devices. Facebook Home changes the way Facebook interacts with Android devices, for example instead of downloading apps like FB messenger, Instagram, Facebook Camera, now one need to download Facebook Home and all the apps will be served to you with it.

With the feature of Cover Feed, Facebook Home provides all the updates of users on the home screen of device that is without the need to navigate to different apps and pages. This features is similar to the recently launched HTC One Flipboard feature.
Another prominent feature is of Chat Heads. In this, when a user’s Facebook friends begins a new chat, their picture will pop up on Android phone home page in a small bubble without taking you out from that app – this is called a chat head. The chathead feature will only work with Facebook Messenger and SMS, not with any other Android app.
Facebook Home app will be available for download from 12th April, and will first be rolled out for phones, users need to wait a little longer till the app comes on Tablet devices.
In the meanwhile HTC announced the HTC first AT&T phone which will carry the Facebook Home preloaded into it and will be priced at $99 with a two year contract.
