Have a Break, Have a Kit Kat: Android 4.4 is named Kit Kat
Android Kit Kat it is…!!! The new version of Android Operating System i.e Android 4.4 is Kit Kat. The famous chocolate wafer bar sharing its name with leading mobile OS came as a surprise to many as it was believed that Google was earlier planning to name its next Android 4.4 version as Key Lime Pie. Now the official confirmation came from Sundar Pichai (Senior Vice President, Chrome and Apps, Google) on Google’s official Google+ page.
Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets. Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each Android version is named after a dessert: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean. As everybody finds it difficult to stay away from chocolate we decided to name the next version of Android after one of our favorite chocolate treats, Kitkat®!

Many Brand Exoerts are erfering to it a marketing campaingn designed for Nestle, but it was later confirmed that no money was involved in the deal between nestle and Google for the new brand name for Andorid Operating System Kit Kat.
Kit Kat is also said to the favorite snack of all Android coders and thus the inspiration of naming Android 4.4 as Kit Kat was given a thought and soon rolled out.
However both the companies need to be careful about there products now as any negative feedback will directly or indirectly afftect both of their reputation.
