How to Shoot and Share Videos with Instagram
Guess the fan following of Instagram users has just increased…!!! Instagram as we have knows for its phenomenal photo clicking experience has taken a step forward by giving us an option to shoot 15 second video and that too with 13 new filters specifically for video making 🙂
Insatagram’s Co- Founder Kevin Systrom at a press conference at Facebook’s headquarter in Melon Park made the announcement. The new feature was simply put as “Video on Instagram“ by Mr. Systrom.
Today, we’re thrilled to introduce Video on Instagram and bring you another way to share your stories. When you go to take a photo on Instagram, you’ll now see a movie camera icon. Tap it to enter the video mode, where you can take up to fifteen seconds of video through the Instagram camera.

The feature has been made public effective today for its huge 130 million monthly userbase.
How to Use Video on Instagram
- Tap on movie camera icon on right when you open Instagram
- Now press the red movie button and keep it pressed till the time you record your video, max it can record up to 15 seconds
- Select filter for your video; Instagram’s Cinema feature is enabled by default
- Share it with your friends and family over your social network
With all these current developments going on Instagram it would not be wrong to say that there is a lot of potential in video based advertising that lies ahead for Facebook.
On the other hand, Twitter’s Vine announced a new set of features for its users.
