HTC One S coming to India with 1.7 GHz Processor, Launch on 15th June
The much awaited HTC One S smartphone is finally coming to India on 15th June, if some sources are to believed. HTC One S will come with an overclocked processor with a clock speed of 1.7 GHz. Earlier it was reported that One S will be launched with 1.5GHz processor. The 1.7 GHz variant is currently available in the Taiwanese market, HTC has recently confirmed that they are selling the overcooked version in some Asian markets.
If we talk about its other specifications then One S will come preloaded with the Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS with HTC Sense UI 4. It will be powered by a 1.7 GHz processor (read above) and 1 GB of RAM. The microSD card slot, which is missing in One X is included in One S that expands the memory to up to 32 GB. It also has 16 GB of internal memory. The device will have 8 MP camera that will be fitted with a LED flash. Other regular features like Bluetooth, WiFi, DLNA and 3.5 mm jack are built in. One S will also be equipped with Beats audio enhancement.
Infibeam has started pre-booking One S on its official portal and it is claiming that the smartphone will be launched on 15th June, in India.
