Nokia PureView 808 Officially launched in India
The much anticipated and eagerly awaited Nokia 808 PureView is finally launched in India today. Nokia 808 PureView which was bit delayed and expected to be announced on 6th June is now available at all Nokia Priority Dealers across India for a whooping price of Rs. 33,899. Only the black and white variant of the smartphone is currently available with red variant coming soon.
Nokia 808 PureView came into news when it was showcased earlier this year. Its 41 Megapixel camera makes it stand apart from any other smart phone that is currently available in the market. Nokia is working on this optics technology from past 5 years to produce this gem. Other then that 808 features a 4 inch ClearBlack display with 640×360 pixel resolution. Internally it is powered by a 1.3 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM which provide enough juice to run this behemoth.
Nokia 808 comes with 16GB of internal storage, Nokia Belle FP1 OS and other features like NFC, Bluetooth and Wifi. The smartphone features Dolby Headphone technology and Dolby Digital Plus for 5.1 channel surround sound playback. All this runs on a 1400mAh battery.
Although PureView has been priced at Rs. 33,899, but Indian ecommerce portal Buytheprice is selling it for Rs.32,000. You can get it here.
