Return of A Legend: Titanic 2 to Sail in 2016
The legendary Titanic will be set to sail yet again and that too in 2016. Clive Palmer’s Blue Star Line Company addressed the press in New York City on Tuesday (26th February 2013) and unveiled the new blueprints of the Titanic II The first announcement of building Titanic II first came in 2012.

The Titanic II is hopeful of making its first voyage in 2016 from Southhampton, England to New York, and will be carrying 2,600 passengers in 850 cabins. 900 crew members are said to be on board for the service. However, the new Titanic will be three inches longer than the original one i.e 883 feet and will have 18 lifeboats on it, which will be enough for everyone on board.
The area for passengers will be authentic with the same design and facilities, but there will be modern things such as air conditioning and other features we are debating, such as Internet on the ship. I’m against it. I think you should relax on vacation. There won’t be TVs in the state rooms though.

One of the interesting feature that will recreate the magic of first Titanic and make you feel like in the movie is that passengers will be given the same 1920’s costume to dress in. And mind you in this Titanic also the First class passengers will not be able to meet Second class passengers or the Third class passengers…..(Phew…!!!! Looks like we will have another Jack and Rose on board; with a different end to their love story though)

The ticket prices for Titanic 2 has not yet been disclosed and even the cost of building the same is a secret at this moment.

As far as safety is concerned The Titanic 2 is said to be the most safest ship in the ocean under worst case scenario, as said by Blue Star Line Company official reps.
Anything will sink if you put a hole in it. The company is already looking into preventing worst-case scenarios. I’m not super superstitious. We are staying true to the original Titanic and a lot of those designs and full experience that never saw the light of day, but there will be some updates too.
The Titanic stands as a monument and hope for everyone who came to America to fulfill their dreams. Today, we know the U.S. has become what it has become. A great Republic is the best hope for the world and mankind, and the Titanic can play a big role in that.
