Samsung Galaxy Camera: Why Not to Buy
The new Samsung Galaxy Camera is catching up a lot attention and we are seeing it publicized everywhere Television, Web, Print….All prompting people to think whether they go for it or not. I would say Samsung has taken a daring step towards something new. The Android powered Galaxy camera comes handy for people who immediately want to share pictures over web, but one should also keep in mind that how much time it will take a huge 16MP file to upload and how much it will cost for a data plan for the same ? Well this just one side of the story, there are other disadvantages of the new Samsung Galaxy Camera also, lets have a look at it
Disadvantages of Samsung Galaxy Camera
Bad Picture Quality
Given all the features 16.3 MP camera (4608×3456 pixels ), 21x optical zoom, 23 mm wide angle lens, but the picture quality can be termed as sad. Also there is complaint of too much noise at slow ISO and optical aberrations the same time.
Huge Price
Priced at $500 but not worth it. A $200 camera would be better option if you want good picture quality. Plus as mentioned before be ready to shell out more on data plans every month to sync and upload pictures and videos.
Battery Consumption
The biggest complaint of Android users is that their gadgets consume a lot of battery and need charging much often. Well the Galaxy Camera would add more to your frustration when it comes to battery.
Shape and Size
The Android powered Samsung Galaxy Camera is not that friendly when it comes to holding it, especially if you are using apps like Instagram. Instagram run only in portrait mode and holding and using the camera in portrait mode is a little clumsy and greasy (it may slip from your hand)
So what say, would you like to with the new Galaxy camera or other options that serve the purpose of a good quality camera rather than fancy features and apps installed into it ?
