Samsung’s YOUM: Flexible and Unbreakable OLED Display (Video)
Samsung is surely Mobilizing Possibilities. One of the best innovations that CES 2013 will be remembered is Samsung YOUM i.e the new flexible technology in display. Just imagine your phone or tablet screen that will be bendable, rollable, and even foldable 🙂 Samsung Electronics brought this imagination into reality by showing off this jaw dropping technology to the public at the Las Vegas Convention Center, USA.
YOUM is designed to give a crisp and better contrasting display experiences to the users. The ultrathin foldable screen uses OLED Display Technology. Brian Berkeley, the senior vice president of Samsung’s display lab in San Jose, California, presented the prototype of a YOUM powered display in phone that is foldable at the CES 2013.
The technology will let the company’s partners make bendable, rollable, and foldable displays
